Sealed Beam Lights

Just replace sealed beam units with a pair of halogen conversions - replacemnt glass - Wipac ones were around 25 quid last time I bought some for the pair. Just make sure you get the sidelight version if your sidelights are in the headlights.

Do these lenses fit into the current Caterham lights? I have not been thrilled with my downgrade from Cibies after the rebuild (as Cibie's are not officially sanctioned by Caterham, the insurance company and rebuilder put default ones on).

Low tech luddite - xflow and proud!

As cibies were an option in 1993 then I guess they must fit the lights used in 1993, these were the ones with the separate rim that fitted over the front and was clamped together with a tangential screw. Since then Caterham have changed the spec and now use a bowl with a rim that's secured with a bolt into the bowl itself.

I'm pretty sure though that all sealed beam units and aftermarket units like wipac and cibie use the same mounting.
