groutledge Posted July 22, 2002 Share Posted July 22, 2002 I'm just about to take the plunge and go for a Ford LSD axle but I have a problem, namely I have 20 weller steel race wheels with a variety of interesing rubber and don't really want to mess about buying new wheels. I can have the flanges modified to Ital PCD so that i can fit my existing wheels but I can also fit the ford studs, at least on the rear. The holes in the wheels will be fine they stand. Does anybody have any experience/opinions on using slicks with the smaller studs/PCD or am I better going to ford studs or should I not put slicks on?
