More problems help needed

Guys,

After all the problems I had with my engine cutting out Caterham sent me a new ecu,

I installed it and within 2 days I am having more trouble

 

the previous problem was that the engine would cut on deacceleration (lift foot of accelorator)

then engine would then not start again for a period of 4 -45 mins - meaning that more often than not a 1 hour journey took up to 4 hours.

 

So they said get the engine tuned I did this only fixed the problem for a couple of days then it returned but not as regularly.

So I took my car to caterham and they re programmed the ecu didn't fix the problem made it worse.

 

They sent me the new ECU and that fixed the problem for a couple of days.....

 

Now my problem is intermittently my engine sounds really really rough like a tractor and has no power ( I reacon its only running on 3 cylenders) and if I let it idle the revs fall off and it stalls. but it will restart.

 

Any ideas .... as the car is only 1.5 months old am I within my rights to ask them to pick it up and fix it or do I have to take it round to them

If your car is "1.5 months old" I think that you've been remarkably tolerant so far.

I'd ask them to come and get it within the next 48 hours.
