Ged in blue Seven- having just checked out a certain lake I think ? And by the luggage on car I guess en route to Pageant of Power or similar ?

Dead right John, on all accounts. The level was about 2 ft up, the beck had burst it's banks and flooded across to the lake.

But it was nothing to what we've driven through to get home, walls of water over the car, a couple of times the drivers door folded from the pressure of water thrown up by passing vehicles.
