myothercarsa2cv
And what type of mtb? Lightweight XC whippet, all rounder, entry level, hardcore full on DH, FR, dirt/jump? Throw us a line You will want around a 17" frame though. myothercarsa2cv
Trust me you don't want a 19" Marin frame, they're huge. I have one (Bobcat, old), and it's a little on the large side for me (6'3"). They aren't very manouevrable. I moved on to a 17" full sus Rock Springs after that which was much better, then that got stolen. I now ride a 14" DMR, and am using the old Bobcat as a base to build a fairly decent ride for my little brother (with the only forks I have that fit the headtube, Manipoo Flicks ). For £700, I'd be looking at a s/h frame and some bargains off CRC and ebay for a build up. Or, you could get a 2008 Specialized in a decent spec for that.
