Willie.
Nope, but are these for your 7, and road use? If so, let me know how you get on. Wonder how these are for all round road use, compared to 888s. Pressure will depend on the car, engine/weight etc, so might be worth giving some more details. For what its worth, I'd start at 17 all round and see how it feels. Simon.Rogers1
RJ - 16 ps1 all round. Many of us run these in the sprint champs in soft compound and quite a few also run them on the road also. Same pressures. Excellent all round tyre and fantastic track work!
Support Team Shaun_E Posted June 24, 2009 Support Team Share Posted June 24, 2009 I run softs for sprinting and hard compound for road and track. As Simon says - 16 psi all round. Yellow SL #32 - member of Drowned Rat Racing
Mark Durrant
Regin Don't listen to them what do they know as I use 17psi Simon, it works at MIRA especially on the last corner 😬 Mark D
rj
Thanks, I had 18psi in them yesterday and thought it might be too much - especially because they were quite cold when I checked - around 14 deg. Car had a tendency to understeer under load as if the diff was rock solid locked. And I had even stiffened up the rear ARB. Mark, as you are my Head of Motorsport I better have to obey 😶🌫️ Will let you know how I get on. All tyres are soft by the way - that was all I could get in this crap country. david nelson
RJ I think you will find that 16.5 is the best pressure for these tyres. I am unclear why Mark and Simon would use those pressures when they are looking for optimal car handling David
Simon.Rogers1
You're right David. Mark is still LOOKING for optimal handling. Of course the car could be just fine. 😬 Maybee its the ..... Management Team Member If in doubt.......Flat out!

Simon.Rogers1
I think Paul G has been trying to find a set of these also. Mel has no hair left! Management Team Member If in doubt.......Flat out!
Paul Gibb
Simon I think I had the last pair in the UK off Dave K but still need another as soon as Mel can get his hands on some . Don't listen to them on the tyre pressures Nigel as they only have a lap and a half to get them working (a skill which I sadly never acquired ) L7 FUN
