Recommended Posts

On behalf of a (previous) long time member and friend of mine - Al Crickmore - I know the car and it's a beaut, not to mention a steal at this price:-

2002 Caterham Superlight no.186

1.6 K-Series 138bhp

Caterham Yellow

15800 miles

1 Owner from new

Immaculate bodywork, no corrosion etc.

15800 miles - hasn't been serviced since 3000 mile service done in '07 but has only clocked 1000 miles since then. Not been used due to wedding/baby/honeymoon etc.

Never tracked but always driven with enthusiasm ;o)

Usual standard Superlight bits & pieces -

• Carbon Nose, wings, & dash (Nose is painted with bare carbon tip and wings are bare carbon)

• 13" Minilites

• Limited Slip Diff

• Race Harnesses

• FIA Rollbar

• Uprated Front Brakes (AP Racing)

• Widetrack Suspension

• Tillet Seats

Plus extras -

• Anti-cavitation Tank

• Black Pack

• Full Weather kit

Lovely car, gonna kill me to see it go!

£15,000 ono

PM me and I'll link you up with Al.

damn right Kenny, we've had some fun with those cars, but having already bought Gary Guest's car when he chose to sell it, I can't very well buy Al's too - only room for 2 Caterhams in our garage 😬

Adnrew, yhm and I've mailed Al's number to you too

Just for a moment I thought Jennie's car was up for sale!

This is an excellent spec car for the money and I don't think it will be around for long.

Mark,

Looks a good un.

Had I not just bought my current beast I, too, would be tempted.

This is supposed to be one of the best balanced 7's ever made.
