Area Representative Tin Man Posted July 15, 2002 Area Representative Share Posted July 15, 2002 I have decided to do a DIY flat floor set up, but I can't adjust the the rear platforms. They are stuck solid! Any ideas on how to free them or should I take them off? Is it a good idea to put some copper slip between the faces of the platforms? Chelspeed Posted July 16, 2002 Share Posted July 16, 2002 Yes, loads of copperslip, not only on the platforms themselves but more importantly on the exposed threads above and below the platforms. This is even more important on non Caterham dampers where you have a steel damper body and ally adjustors, Ledas, Spax, Avo and of course the race billies. Ally, steel and salty water don't mix.
