Stack speed sensor

If any one of you out there is using a Stack speedo or tach timmer and uses the Caterham sensor mount, then read on.

The Caterham sensor mount, mount on the brake caliper. This over heats the sensor and they fail. This was confirmed by stack, who are unhappy with the way that Caterham mount their sensor. I think I have come up with a neat solution. A small bracket that replaces the spacer washer between the steering arm and upright.

The bracket swings back and under the steering arm, picking up on the same disc bolts that the old mount used to. The spacer washer was there to replace the no longer used disc stone guard.

It is very important that the sensor bracket is made with the same gauge steel size, or stainless steel, as the spacing washer. To see my idea, go to my web site at www.tbarnes.co.uk you will find a photo under technical tips.

Haven't finished my rebuild after an accident, so haven't had a chance to test the bracket, but I have full confidence that it will work Ok.
