Hi

I'm still looking for the 3 small 52mm dials (VDO) for my 1400 K series 1995 Supersport. I bought a set from a club member to find that had come out of a Vauxhall engined car & they run on 9 volts not 12 - Doh!!!

I need the Fuel level, water temp, & oil pressure please.

Thanks

Phill

Thanks for that.

I installed the replacement gauges & they gave weird readings so I took the car to my local auto electrician who thought that some Vauxhall gauges run on a lower voltage & that this would explain the problem.

Anyone else have any other thoughts on this please?

Thanks

Phill

Hi Phil,

They did come from my VX car but they run on 12 volts not 9?

Did you fit the temp send I gave you with them?

Don't know why they would give wierd readings they were all fine in the car before replacment.

No probs - I was grateful you could sell them to me. The problem is me not being "up to speed"!

THe oil pressure gauge you sold me seems to be OK -the water temp is reading high - maybe a new sender needed & the fuel level shows empty when nearly full so not sure whst the problem is there - maybe different sender needed to go with your fuel gauge?

Any thoughts appreciated

Phill

The oil gauge was ok just the sender was knackered (as most of them go from what I hear)

The Water temp, is that with the sender I gave you or the one you had?

The fuel gauge did read ok in mine so that's got me lost? *confused*

I thought all the fuel senders were the same but I stand to be corrected.

Let me know if anything I can do to help
