taffyracer
I'm looking for a plate type LSD purely for track use, there are so many varieties, Titan, ZF, Tran-x, Elite........anyone have any feedback on the relevant merits of each one? Also what about ramp angles Edited by - taffyracer on 30 May 2009 10:01:

jj48
Have recently had a titan diff installed- a marked improvent over the Quaife diff. Had diff work carried out by Phil at Road and Race but cannot remember Tel no- must be my age! Richard
Support Team Shaun_E Posted May 31, 2009 Support Team Share Posted May 31, 2009 I replaced my old AP Suretrac with a Titan diff this season - it certainly seems more effective. I was worried that it might be a bit agressive but it locks up in a very benign way. If you are considering a plate type diff then I guess the Titan should be top of the list - it was developed specifically for use on Caterhams. Rattie
So those that have used both, how would you describe the differences between the Titan and the Quaife ATB? I understand the mechanicals behind both, but not having driven either I now have to select which one to get in the R300. Input welcome. Neil_K
I can't compare one to the other, but am very happy with my Titan unit. Was doing good donuts on Saturday! Where am I?
