Also spotted a unique Mini (proper, original Mini)

As I was getting the MOT done on the 21 I saw an odd looking Mini in the yard.

 

Well, yes it was an old Mini, sort of.

Badged as a New Era, it was different at the back with what you might call a fast-back style look, At the front, the wings were the same but the radiator grille different.

Apparently three of these were produced during an industrial dispute and this is the sole remaining example, previously raced, it was also owned by a car security company, so has a few curious locks on it.

I took some pictures with my phone, so will post them in due course.
