woodfell
Hi, The ABS light comes on intermittently on my 54 Audi A6. Has anyone experienced this before, and if so what was the resolution? I want to sell it soon so need to get it fixed. Thanks.
peterg
I believe this is quite often one of the wheel sensors getting dirty so it might be worth taking the wheels off one at a time and flushing and/or blowing with an airline to see if that clears the light
woodfell
Yes - I have taken off both front wheels and removed and cleaned the sensors but the light still comes on. Edited by - woodfell on 29 May 2009 13:15:
millsn
Telling you traction control is operating?
Rich N
If there's a more serious ABS or ABS controller issue, VAG-COM (free download will suit you just fine) and the very cheap serial cable from eBay will let you read the error codes.. can you try that? (or if you're near Oxted tomorow I can do that for you!) --=[Oxford7s.net]=-- [subscribe: List-subscribe@Oxford7s.net]
