Bricol
I've got a feeling they are Talbot Sunbeam . . . but I've not tested it yet. Certainly not Triumph or Ford . . . Have to say, I've never replaced rack gaitors on any other car so often as I have on the Caterham. Never replaced them on the Escort rack on my westie in 7yrs, where they are similarly exposed to UV etc, but 2 yrs is about the most I get out of the Caterham ones. However, 9quid for the Caterham ones is about what others cost too . . . so I keep giving up and buying some more every other year as I need them quickly - maybe this year I'll look into it . . . maybe . . . Normans_Ghost
I think the new ones are made of neoprene and may last longer than the old rubber type ones. Just fiited my spare to a guests cars. He arrived with a split in it and within a day or two it was split all round and in two halves. prs
7WOTW, just changed mine again after 2yrs 😳. However the rubber does now seem different so perhaps this set might last 3yrs 😬. So what are the new suspension mods like.
