ECR
This is surely a good buy for someone. I have run one for a number of years and it has proved extremely strong. There are (obviously) no synchro rings to break which is always a problem in a hard used standard box. The dog change doesn't take too long to get used to either. Pendennis
Hi Barry, is it a long or short input shaft? Want to rent an 18th century Farmhouse in Rural Somerset?
BarryT
Its long input shaft (std. for Caterham 5speeds). Barry
Ian R
Barry Hi, what are you replacing it with then? Ian (C4T VX) (If you want to go faster, you will have to add lightness!)
BarryT
Hi Ian, Have currently fitted a std. 5 speed as since stopping racing, I find the straight cuts a bit too noisy for me on the road. However, the ratios are far from perfect so a closer ratio version could on the cards. Barry
