Tony Wright
Friend is going to leave a deposit on this here he's going to ring back the seller this evening and maybe ask a few more questions. Will need to ask about gearbox (probably a 5 speed as he has not mentioned it in the Ad) also not sure if it's widetrack anyone know of the car or think of anything else to maybe check Forgot to ask but does weather gear fit over the Superlight cage Edited by - tony wright on 16 May 2009 18:37:
Jon Crofts
That's a Roadsport cage with Superlight roof hoops so yes weather gear does fit. Porsche GT3 RS Orange R300 Superlight
shn7
Looks narrow track to me from the photos and wonder if it's an ex academy car with the options listed. Steve. rj
Dampers haven't got the extensions, so it will be narrow track. /regin
Tony Wright
Ziplobb, owner says price reflects the damage and I suppose for a 2007 car the price really is good. Are Academy cars not allowed wide track?
Mark Gregory
I don't know the car or driver, but the spec suggests an ex-race car (Academy/RoadSportsB/RSA): 1. Damage to the rear skin. 2. Forged pistons & uprated valve caps. 3. Battery master switch. 4. Plumbed in fire extinguisher. Nothing wrong with ex-race cars IMHO, provided they are straight. According to this link Simon Parker did the Academy in 2005 (2/3rds down page 2) here Link added. Grubbster
Spec is better than Academy (LSD, forged pistons, uprated valve caps) but almost certainly a racecar - could have started as an Academy and then upgraded? I wonder where in Hampshire, don't think I've ever seen it on my travels. Looks a fair spec and age for the money. Solent Se7ens Web!
