RoyH
I have been looking for another Caterham to replace my last R300. Found a possible option. Due to the two total losses I have had in Caterham ownership in the last year my insurers have now quoted me a 350% to 400% premium increase. I cant get any other broker to quote due to the size of the combined total losses, and there's no way I'm going to shell out for that sort of an increase on a fourth car. So that's me out of Caterham ownership after 12 months. This wasnt in my plans at all. Not an overjoyed bunny here.

Claire Voyant
Bad news but hardly a suprise. The really bad news will be when the insurance is due on the other cars. Sorry, and sorry for you. ☹️
RoyH
Yes, The 996 is not due for renewal until end of January. It'll be sold too.
strongy
Sleep on it for a day or two Roy, things often look better after a good nights sleep and a clear head. (unless you pulled the night before whilst wearing beer goggles) What about a less powerful Caterham and a low milage/high excess, it'll still bring a smile to your face. RoyH
Yes, have been thinking of that option, will give it a try, certainly. The car, the club and the people are fantastic, but I really would lose a dimension if I enjoyed it without the Caterham.

CageyH
I have a drawer full of "Curly Wurly"'s. Is the version you are after a mixture between confectionery and a helicopter? If so, they were not very successful, as the Curly Wurly never made a good rotor blade, and helicopters are difficult to eat. Only dead fish go with the flow....!
