Stuart Miller 7
Just to say thank you all for the help and advice this weekend and especially thank you to Malcolm for the wheel bearing and socket, Adrian for the torque wrench and Mark for sticking it all back together again. Shame I missed the top 10 run! Can't believe I've had a seven for 8 years and didn't think about sprinting. Never thought driving 545 miles and eight hours just to drive for 3 minutes and 20 seconds up a hill would be so worthwhile..... What a great club. Support Team Shaun_E Posted May 11, 2009 Support Team Share Posted May 11, 2009 What a rollercoaster the weekend turned out to be. I fell like I spent more time under the bonnet than behind the wheel. Thank you to everyone who helped keep our ailing car going over the weekend especially Mark (even if he did drop a bolt into the bellhousing - I've never seen him look that panic stricken). Special thanks to Kevin for suggesting I check the CPS just as I was about to miss my second time run, therefore enabling me to set my best time. The car gave up again before we'd even left Wales and we completed the rest of our journey home on a flatbed. Hopefully I will have it sorted by the weekend but will see you all at Curborough whatever. Yellow SL #32 - member of Drowned Rat Racing
