SimonArk
Hi, You may be interested in my 7 which is for sale at Caterham Midlands. It is basically a Roadsport which I have considerably modified since the original build in 2006. It has covered just over 8000 miles since then. However the engine, gearbox and limited slip diff were all new at 6600 miles. I built the engine myself (I am an ex F1 mechanic). The block, liners, pistons head etc were all brand new. The head is an MS2 motorsport casting modified by Dave Andrews with big valves and Piper 1444 cams. It has Jenvey throttle bodies and an Emerald ECU, and a Bernard Scouse airbox. It was mapped at Emerald and gave 209 BHP @ 8000rpm (self imposed limit to prolong life). The gearbox is a 5 speed which SPC built for me and has special ratios. The diff is an AP Surtrac built by SPC. The rest of the car is basically to Superlight spec with 13" wheels (6" front and 8" rears), watt's linkage, rear roll bar etc, etc but has no carbon bits. It can be seem on Caterham's website under Roadsport. If you have any questions give me a call 07817337760 Regards, Simon Arkless Simon. Gulfb
Simon, Thank you for your kind reply but unfortunately I really am a carbon tart and it does need to be Superlight etc. Fab car by the way and best of luck with the sale.
