Drumster
.....would you have i.e. size, compound etc. As this is my first season I don't really want to go to the added expense of new or wider wheels Presumably these would be better than Yoko 32s? And how do they compare to Yoko 21s in the wet? 1 event and I'm already thinking about new rubber 😬 Chris Alston C7CAT 1800 Supersprint R248 ....and then I jumped in
Support Team Shaun_E Posted May 4, 2009 Support Team Share Posted May 4, 2009 Hi Chris - Asuming you have 13" wheels then 175/60R13 in Soft compound would be your best bet. They will be miles better than the Yokos. Unless there is loads of standing water on the circuit then they will be as good as anything else in the wet. I can't think of anyone who changes from the Kunhos when it rains. 215s won't fit properly under normal wings and are really too wide for 6" rims. Mark Durrant
Chris I agree with Shaun and suggest you go for 175/60R13 Kumho in Soft compound (this size is not available in SuperSoft). Mark D Comp Sec
