Fishy Dave
Hi again, UPDATE - Sold to Graham. My last two 'spare' bullet cameras are up for sale. Both have had light use, and were from Fast Films (when I owned it). Rough specs are - 520TVL Sony chips (super HAD), housed in an alloy casing, with extra bonding inside to resist vibration. Zoom function with focus between 4mm and 9mm. 2.5mm cable with the usual phono and 2.1/5.5mm dc leads. Bigger than the usual size bullet cams so as to house the zoom lens, but still far far smaller than any camcorder of course. These have the usual 1/4" thread in the back from mounting. I prefer mounting these around the middle of the camera body for maximum stability. Excellent condition, at present they have velcro attached to the casing, but this can be removed ok. You will need a microphone and power source plus recording device to finish the package needed. Large video clip here (still compressed quality) from my first ever races a couple of weeks ago showing the forward camera set to about 7mm, with the rear camera set to 4mm. Combe race Looking for £70 each for these plus a small amount for postage/free collection. SimonMac
Hi Dave, could be interested in one of these. Can you please let me know diameter of housing to check that it fits by current clamp? Cheers
Ally
Dave Are the bullit cams PAL or NTSC format? Will they work with a non-HD camcorder?
Fishy Dave
Hi Simon, The diameter is 26mm and they are both PAL. Yes, they will work with virtually any device with an AV in port, whether HD or not. For example on the race clip I recorded to a basic Sony camcorder for convenience. SimonMac
Thanks Dave - will step aside for Gridgway (or someone else) since the diameter is around 20-21mm for my bullet cam clamp. Cheers
