We have decided to sell our well looked after car.

We are based in Guernsey and any sale can include our delivery of the car to you in the UK.

The spec is the following.

1990 kit built Long cockpit. Cycle front wings. ( No Cat required for MOT.)

1600cc crossflow engine on carbs. ( 40 DCOE Webers.) Rebuilt carbs in 2007.

Sticker on the bulkhead indicates the engine was done by John Noble.

Oil cooler. Standard side exit exhaust.

4 speed escort 1300 gearbox.

Ital live axle. (There is a Ford axle included in the sale.)

Alloy front hubs and mintex front brake pads.

Original SPAX dampers and original springs.

Electric blue colour/ black interior with leather seats.

Standard Caterham clocks with power plug for GPS and a dashboard clock.

Genuine minilite wheels. 5 Good tyres.

Full weather kit, tonneau etc.

FIA roll bar with petty strut ( Not currently fitted.)

Luggage rack.

A large stack of bills and history.

A few spares etc.

We have used this car for our holidays to France, Jersey and the UK for the last few years. It is nearly 20 years old and not a concourse winner but has never failed to get us there and back! *thumbup*

It is not a very high spec car but is in a genuinely good roadworthy condition and not tweeked or messed about with. It has lived in the workshop all the time we have owned it and been maintained by us to a good standard.

The price is £8500.00 which is a sensible way in to Caterham ownership.

Registered in 1991. Although we have had to register it on Guernsey we have all the documentation to re-register it in the UK.

Whoops! I nearly forgot! The car even comes with a heater! What luxury! 😬

Hi there,

This advertisement is very tempting.

Since the asking price is reasonable and since I love "real" Sevens (Xflow based engine + LA) this one looks to be a good companion for my Twin Cam.

Is this a factory built car or a kit and which registration does it carry ? Could you mail me some pictures and your contact details (phone, fax, ...) ?
