Support Team Shaun_E Posted April 20, 2009 Support Team Share Posted April 20, 2009 2nd question of the afternoon: What size bolts are used to bolt the petty strut to the new Caged (2 diagonals) FIA bar? There are 2 bolts at the bar end and 1 at the chassis end. I am fairly certain that the fastener pack I got was for the old style bar and the bolts that look about right won't quite go through holes in the bar. It could just be the powder coat is a bit thick but I don't want to run a drill through the hole unless I am sure that is the case. Frying Pan Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 Shaun Just dug my fastener pack out of the garage. My kit was the first to be delivered with the Caged X bar, and came with fastener pack ZRB05. The bolts for the strut to roll bar are BF 7/16 x 2¾. Use washers (under the bolt head and nut) and nyloc nuts to secure. The bolt to the chassis is a BF 7/16 x 1 with both spring and plain washers.
