gold scavenge pump - rebuild after seized engine?

after an oil starvation problem on my 1.8k and it subsequent demise, i need to clean and transfer the dry sump components to the new engine.

 

the gold scavenge pumps - do they work to very fine tolerances or can you just clean them out and reuse (assuming no chunks missing from or bad scouring on the rotors!).

 

they seem fairly sturdy or is it definitely rebuild just in case (it's obv pretty important bit of hardware *tongue*)

 

anyone been through this? if you rebuilt, who did it for you?
