olij Posted April 19, 2009 Share Posted April 19, 2009 after an oil starvation problem on my 1.8k and it subsequent demise, i need to clean and transfer the dry sump components to the new engine. the gold scavenge pumps - do they work to very fine tolerances or can you just clean them out and reuse (assuming no chunks missing from or bad scouring on the rotors!). they seem fairly sturdy or is it definitely rebuild just in case (it's obv pretty important bit of hardware ) anyone been through this? if you rebuilt, who did it for you? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When I returned mine to Titan for a rebuild after my pressure pump got wrecked they binned it! Tonycaterham Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 Hi, After suffering an engine failure (not related to the pump) I still had my gold pump rebuilt at Titan Motorsport, just to be on the safe side.
