1997 1.6 K Supersport engine out - replaced with a 2002 1.8 VHPD

Started fine & runs OK (well a bit lumpy) with original 1.6 MEMS

Replaced MEMS with an K3 Emerald = engine no worky ☹️ ☹️

Yes I have set the throttle pot

Yes I have reset the immobiliser

Yes I have tried 2 or 3 different maps

All I get is the occasional cough. 😔

Put original MEMS back = OK again *confused*

HELP!! *wavey*

Warm spring day in need of a blat

OK so I've got it running (thanks CageyH) BUT now have a problem with tick over.

Cold it runs at about 1200/1300 RPM *wink*

Getting warmer it increases to about 2600/2800 RPM & wont go down again no matter what I try.

Only way I can get it tick over correctly is by disconnecting the IACV *confused*

Can I run with the IACV disconnected OR turn it off via the Emerald OR....?

IACV adjusted - Thanks Oily *wink*

Throttle cable binding on the bonnet when it's fastened down 😔

Pedal adjusted - well, "bend a bit" for the true technical details, to change exit angle out of the pedal box & cable secured with the famous cable ties. *thumbup*

Just road tested for 15 miles 🥰 Happy Bunny on Easter Monday
