k.russell Posted April 10, 2009 Share Posted April 10, 2009 Made my own ducting, make in stiff card first until you perfect the shape and then fabricate in Ali, easy to cut and quite simple to get flanges on for attaching the pieces together, photo here have some more detailed pics will try and sort out. k.russell Posted April 10, 2009 Share Posted April 10, 2009 i am a sheet metal worker so do have acess to press machines, i have done it though by bending the small 5mm flange onto the sheet by trapping the sheet between two bits of mdf and using a mallet to bend the flange, it is then a case of using the mallet to tap the flange over 90 degrees and then easing it down onto itself. finish off again between two bits of solid mdf, with upto 1.6 mm sheet this shoud be ok to produce a good edge.
