John E
Come on you lot someone must have stripped one of these things at some time I'm fairly sure that in its full clockwise position the switch used to make the starting circuit complete. It now goes past that point and any connection is lost. Question. can I purchase just the electrical part? this is held into the steeing lock/barrel assembly by a small grub screw and is easy to remove. I.Mupferit
I've got the barrel part complete with keys you can have for a small donation to NTL. Let me know if you are interested. Brent

I.Mupferit
Doh! Just looked for the barrel without success. Now vaguely remember throwing it away during the last garage clearout, although I did find 1 key for all the good that will do. Sorry about that, looks like you can now count on Count. Taran Las
John, Put a red button in and bypass the starter switch position. This assumes the ignition first stage works ok. Phil Owen

Anthony
Hi Phil, can you advise what you connected the starter switch too please - by-passing the ignition ? Many thanks Anthony X-Flow-power; the way forward
