Edited to show reduced price and that never raced or used on circuit.

Inerestingly, Series 1 are highlighted in this month's Octane (p154)- only 14500 produced and now becoming collectable especially good examples like this one which haven't been tracked

Bronze Red?

Don't think I've seen one in that colour....is it a sort of Bordeaux?

If it's a 1998 car it probably has the MMC alloy/ceramic discs, alloy suspension uprights and alloy engine lid and bootbox with pop out bootbag.

Some later 98s had already gone over to the steel uprights which were standardised in 1999, along with iron discs and the GRP lid and boot box.

Some 'crossovers' have a mix of bits

Very nice cars, I think these early ones are going to be very collectable. Also a lot of fun.

Don't forget to have a good look at the only steel bits.....the suspension arms. The tubes are 2mm wall thickness (new)

I've seen some recently, on a 1999 car, that were horrifyingly corroded.

The car had been in Yorkshire for a long time....what on earth do they put on the roads there?

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds..ooooh hooo hooo!!...

😬 😬Abbey Road Time-Machine *eek* *eek*

Where else does he have this advertised? - If not on Pistonheads tell him to put it there. The S1's on there are selling almost as fast as they are put up - Loads are going to France & Germany because of the Euro rate. Prices are actually going up at the moment . £6500 is dirt cheap for an S1. Most are going for £8500 upwards now
