In fact I'm looking for a second hand SuperSport kit conversion (I know sometimes we can find it here) for my standard 1.6K or an alternative to that conversion. I'm not about to put thousands of $ on a conversion kit, so if someone knows an alternative to the SS kit, I'd be happy to hear about that ! murph7355 Posted July 5, 2002 Share Posted July 5, 2002 Ted Do a quick search for Dave Andrew's site. That has as much info on modifying K series engines as you could possibly need. Also search for "Emerald". They are K gurus and do a kit that rivals the Supersport kit in terms of ease of installation but I believe gives a good chunk more power (160bhp I think). The only advantage with the Supersport kit is that it will probably retain the car's second hand value better as it's a std. Caterham kit. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
