Rich N
Yeah.. You're telling me! I guess it's what comes from buying a 10 year old car that's been upgraded and well loved during the first 6 years of it's life, and then left without maintenance for a further 3 or 4 years.. it all comes apart at the same time. Brian helped me drill and tap a new thread for the Apollo, with a 25mm adaptor for the original plug. It's now a true thing of beauty. Back on the car. Full of clean oil. Replaced spark plugs (old ones blackened as they were getting on and it's probably running rich, even the rusted wet one... ) Managed front discs and pads this weekend, no problems but could use new felt seal next time. - So it was running really well as I hooned it through Milton Park for a brake test.. just a shame about the trail of fuel I left behind me. I'll get the tank out tonight and see where we are. --=[Oxford7s.net]=--
