andysteele
whats a reasonable price to get a tryre fitted, valued and balanced? My local place are quoting £12+vat each, they cant source the A539's so going to Polley for the actual tyre. 1999 VX1600 Classic - andysteele.net - picasa albums - driving in marigolds
Mark Durrant
I pay £5 cash per wheel to a local tyre fitter. There are a few sprinters in your area and I expect one of them will be along soon to tell you who they use. Mark D Comp Sec
robmar
Andy - I used to use Arborfield tyres and was 10 quid a wheel but they have just changed to a quickfit so not sure if they would do again Finchampstead MOT suggested staysure tyres as a good place, but not had chance to try them out yet rob
Matthew Willoughby
My local Kwik Fit changed one of mine for a £10 note. ASBO orange 1.6 VX
GregP
You were done Matthew, my Kwik fit wanted £5 in the charity tin to fit one tyre then £20 cash in hand for four! Mind you, I was offered nitrogen.... They had a huge pile of Avon slicks in the corner of the workshop awaiting fitting so clearly they are well up for motorsport work on the side!
