Bullitt
… with filler plug and dipstick. Have somebody installed this tool? Or have somebody information’s or photos? I had a look at the HP but there is nothing to find. Regards, Charly
Normans_Ghost
Charly, I've seen it but have a Quafe case so not used Brian's. Looked OK, at firts I thought it was a Quaife. BBL
On the advice of others, I had an O2 bung welded into the lid of mine. Photos here and here. Sean
Englishmaninwales
Good modification, if a little expensive. Combine it with a drain, it makes draining and filling the gearbox a 15 minute job. Blat mail me if you want some photos. Malcolm
elie boone
I would rather go for the ali top, it makes the box stronger and u can use the breather as a filler plug. But it would cost more.
Myles
I've got one. I could try and take some pics at the w/e if you want. TBH, the dipstick is a bit of a pain as it is screwed in - so you have to get a socket out to undo it - and it's never been clear to me whether the dip-level is then taken with the stick undone or not. 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 Alcester Racing 7s Ecosse™ 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 Alcester-Racing-Sevens.com
rgrigsby
The BGH lid is ali, I have one as well and it seems to work well. Other than as Myles says that fact that you have get a socket out to undo the dip stick, but I guess that's required to keep it in place. Englishmaninwales
On the ali BGH lid the dip level is taken when the dipstick is screwed in finger tight. Mine has has 2 marks, lower for track use and top level for road use. Malcolm
