Pendennis
I am replacing the Sierra rear brake caliper with the race AP caliper, but having problems connecting the existing brake pipe fitting. Brake pipe connection is male 3/8" unf and the AP male or female connection is 3/8" M10, I believe Anyone know who can supply me a union to suit I have not rung Caterham yet Want to rent an 18th century Farmhouse in Rural Somerset? k80rum
It's a banjo fitting Ian . These are the puppies I think, available from CC but you could go to Think or someone else. Advantage of CC is that they'll be able to confirm the fitting tho. PS, just ordered my R500 'split rad' as well as their new 'propguard plate' that's being fitted to the new sequential cars. A simple design but it seems its such a new item that even the parts department didn't know of it to start with 😳 Darren E K80 RUM Website and Emerald maps library Home of the long-term, supercharged Duratec project Edited by - k80rum on 5 Mar 2009 20:54:

millsn
What's a split rad? Isn't that normally a bad thing?
k80rum
I thought I'd save time, that way I never habe to worry about it failing :) It's their combined water/oil rad Ian, split about 80/20 vertically. The fins are vertical rather than horizontal though which maybe keeps it effective despite the smaller frontal area. They used a 3-in-1 version of it on the X330 which I guess might have been the forerunner to the R500's 2-in-1..
