rgrigsby
I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in another bulk buy of the DriveData video recorders, they have dropped in price and released a few new options since the original bulk buy. If there are a few people interested I'll have a chat with my contact there and see what I can sort out. Cheers Rob G www.SpeedySeven.com

mikes
Might also be interested, depending on how much it adds up to once you include the necessary accessories. Mike

rgrigsby
OK I'll do a bit of digging and see what I can find out, in terms of new options they now do a model with a LCD screen built into the case and I believe there is also a 4 channel model that supports some kind of PIP set-up. Simon.Rogers1
Not sure on the cost of the kit but this could also be interesting. Choice to buy from Dataspares or AiM Tec in the UK. Even in stand alone form without the logger data (and my own doesn't either ) the GPS and speed overlay etc is cool!
rgrigsby
That's quite nice, a few of the guys in the RGB series use a bit of free software to overlay DL1 data on video afterwards. Not quite as swish though 😳 Rob G www.SpeedySeven.com

rgrigsby
OK I've had a chat with my contact and it looks like something similar to last time can be aranged, the question is what do people want. There's a few options.. DR2 - Same as before, SD recorder that records to Compact Flash, not sure how many they have left now as it looks like it's been superceeded. DR3-S1 - New version of above, slightly smaller with a different case/control system DR3-X1 - As above with an LCD screen on the case There's also a couple of new models coming in April, one that has GPS with a built-in video overlay system and another that supports 4 cameras with a choice of PIP set-up. In addition to the above they can supply 520/580line bullet cameras, bullet camera mounts, LANC remote controls as before. I guess it's really up to us to decide what is we are interested. There's more info here if you want to have a look around. If you're feeling really flush they are also starting to do HD stuff but it's not cheap 😳 Cheers Rob G www.SpeedySeven.com Edited by - rgrigsby on 7 Mar 2009 18:33:
