Martin J
Saw you just too late to *wavey*or flash Ian. I was in a grubby gas van & you did glance my way. Were you off to your favourite stretch of road near Westerham? Martin
A Ashby
Is there a good bit of road near Westerham 🤔 C7 SSP
Stationary M25 Traveller
Hi Croydon Road from Westerham up to the top of Titsey Hill is one of my favourites !! So fast if no packs of cyclists around ! Didn't think I was going to drive the Seven this weekend, but left my phone at FIL house (fell out of my pocket on his sofa), so chose the 7 as the transport to go and collect it 😬

Stationary M25 Traveller
B2024 Croydon Road ..... Fast and flat as you leave Westerham - you can accelerate hard as you see the NSL sign, mini tunnel under the M25, then watch for tractors turning from gate on right. After that, fast until road narrows at crossroads with Pilgrims Way, they 90-degree left-hander, then very twisty up the hill (be ready to react in case of walkers, bikes, etc !), culminating in a crest at the top (still fast though) with big views to the left once at the top. Continue to roundabout, then you can go left down Titsey Hill, or turn round and do it again in the opposite direction. If you go down Titsey, when you get into Limpsfield village, after the 90-degree left hander, must turn right at mini roundabout (very mini !), or you will face the speed bumps from hell all the way to the M25 traffic lights ! Martin J
Having tried to keep up with Ian on that stretch of road I agree it's pretty exciting. 😬 Also check out the climb out of Dunton Green up Star Hill to Fort Halstead. A great stretch of road with wide open views & good visibility for saftey & great sweeping left hander on the climb you can take at speed
Stationary M25 Traveller
Polhill may be two lanes up and one down, but that was very nearly not enough when Peter and I were 'making good progress' up there at the end of a blat one day, came round the sweeping bend .... and found a car stopped in the nearside with a puncture, and a police car with blue lights on parked in lane two !!! It was a good test of brakes all round ... then we squeezed past between the police car and double white lines whistling innocently 😳 😬
Martin J
Be careful out there, you never know what's round the next bend! Horses seem to be favourite at the moment round my way & they look enormous from a 7 *eek*
