Englishmaninwales
Which ones available provide the best conformity to the standard CC fibre glass rear wings? Thanks Malcolm
Stationary M25 Traveller
Assume you mean the stone guards on the front of the rear wings ? Think they all wrap around ok. Watch for different widths - obviously the wider the plate the more of the wing it protects.
Foggy
Or do you mean the complete carbon wrap around one's that overlap the rear wing? These are supplied solely by Millwood (unless anyone knows any different?). Do a search for Millwood rear arch protectors and you will find more info and a pic. Martin Erhard
I got a pair of the Millwood protectors last year. One fitted perfectly the other didn't. I would guess 'standard' CC fibre glass rear wings vary a bit as well!
Foggy
That's interesting to note Martin! The pair I ordered I returned as I wasn't happy with blemishes in the weave. Shame really as Millwood would appear to have the monopoly on the fully wrapped round type.
Budjuggler
I had to return the first pair due to 'slight surface imperfections' but the second set were fine Andy - 50% AR ReHaB The Cat in front is a Toyota ....
6speedmanual
Hi If you have a new or newly painted set of wings, have you considered either of the following alternatives? Don't bother with anything - it is surprising how long a good paint will last. It can be touched up occasionally if required. Fit armoufend plastic direct to the wing - it can be wrapped around. When it gets shabby, just replace it. Both options are lighter weight, cheaper and cleaner designs than fitting 'protectors'. Englishmaninwales
Hmmmm, thanks. That sounds like a good idea. The only trouble is the state of the roads where they have spent a fortune over the last few years with surface chippings....
