Gingerbread Man Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 I started a thread while ago asking for peoples mirror set-ups. My current car has the standard flat glass Caterham items. Most replied stating that they run with convex side mirrors. Now I like my flat mirrors, but I have the feeling that I'm missing out on something super dooper or I'm not and I will hate them completely. I was hoping that I could borrow/ test run a pair before spending out on mirrors that I then end up selling and craving my flat glass back. Has anyone an old pair lying around that they don't mind lending out, or if you're in the south east, mind me coming to try them out for size. If you can wait until the WightBlat weekend (not long now !!), there will be dozens to try out !!!! If your wife drags you to shop at BlueWater, we live 2 minutes away - you are most welcome. I'm just North of Winchester (South Wonston) and you're welcome to come and sit in my car (in the garage) and see what view I get with convex on both side and centre mirrors.
