I've seen HPC wheels sold at the £200+ area that have lacquer lifting, kerb damage etc. The only way to assess them properly is to take a look. BTW, they're also fitted with bolt-in valves, and have the original one-piece alloy locking centre caps rather than the 2 piece plastic centred version found on the prisoner alloys.
