djg
1.6 K SS c/w dry sump and 6 sp box I am taking the engine out this weekend to change the crb, yes I know i can do it with the engine in but I am doing engine mount rubbers friction and pressure plate etc etc too, Now, do I split engine and gbox in the car and leave the box there, or is it just as easy to take the lot out in one go, I have a gearbox mount rubber also to change if I go this route. My main fear is I don't have a rear oil seal for the box, Do these seals weep when disturbed? TIA Doug

prs
Ditto Richard, far less work to leave box in situ. Have done it both ways and would never take the box out again unless i was intending to do some work on it.
