Â Fuel tank is out anyway so the only fuel in the system will be that between the fuel filter and the engine. Presumeably I don't really need to go any further than that? Lotus Boy Posted February 22, 2009 Share Posted February 22, 2009 About to start mine after 4 months - what is the best way to crank for pressure? With my old Saab I used to take the ign coil lead off and earth to the bodywork then turn over the engine. Roadsport06 Posted February 22, 2009 Share Posted February 22, 2009 Near battery, on the bulkhead is a push button (inertia switch) that cuts out if you are in a collision. Unplug that at the bottom and then push starter or turn the key, 30 odd sec later and you'll have pressure.
