Pendennis Posted December 30, 2008 Share Posted December 30, 2008 I have two un-opened thus sealed new LSD oil 1L containers that are no longer of any use to me. New in October 2008. They are Valvoline Durablend SAE75W-90 GL-5 LS gear oil and are in 1 litre containers. This is ok for AP Suretrac and Viscous type LSD's, but no good for plate version. Not sure on the Quaife unit £5.00 plus p+p each, collection is not a problem. Cheers Ian Want to rent an 18th century Farmhouse in Rural Somerset? k80rum Posted December 30, 2008 Share Posted December 30, 2008 Cheers Ian There's no rush on them The engine's almost ready - it's just waiting on the lump between the bellhousing and propshaft 😬 The cams aren't in the head yet, I'm waiting on the buckets to arrive from Burton (which have had to be ordered ☹️) but these wouldn't stop the engine going in. My money's on the buckets arriving before I've decided on the 'box. I hope your head gets back soon. Fingers crossed for a quick build once it is. Last I heard from Peter, the first of the new bellhousings were due to be delivered around 27th.
