regroo Posted December 30, 2008 Share Posted December 30, 2008 Our old Golf is up for sale as I have a new car. N Reg, Green, 138K (or thereabouts) Taxed until end of Jan, MOT until Oct 09. Reliable, 60mpg, cheap. At the last MOT it had a new rear shock, tyres, front suspension bushes and rollbar bushes. Has some rust on the nearside rear arch, drivers door lock needs a new catch and is currently nf (TBH I never locked it anyway) few odd bumps. Still looks half reasonable and with the low power tdi engine will cover loads more wheezing miles 😬 Lots of old history (in my ownership the oil has been changed twice in 20K) £500 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The place that services our stuff has a couple of customers with them and they are both at around 260K, one is running on veg oil. BTW the Golf is a 5 door.
