lancelot
Chaps, Is anybody interested in swapping their 22% rack for my 8% one? It is brand new and never used, so if you ordered the wrong one (like I did) maybe we could swap. Failing that, I'll sell mine and buy yours. Myles
Is it too late to send it back for a swap by CC? 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 Alcester Racing 7s Ecosse™ 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 Alcester-Racing-Sevens.com
lancelot
It might be too late - I've had it over a year! Never used though, just placed in rough position. If they won't exchange it I'll just have to sell it and buy another new one..... Anyone want mine?

lancelot
Les, Yes of course. Were you going to buy one from CC? Mine will be a little cheaper.....
LesG
Lancelot, I'm rebuilding an '87 car that was originally fitted with clamshells, and now since I've converted to cycle wings, the wing brackets bash into my lovely new side panels due to the extra lock of a clamshell rack. My options to complete the build are either to fit some lock stops to my original rack, or I was keeping my eye open for someone upgrading a later (and with the correct lock travel) 8% rack to a 22%. I can't quite bring myself to fork out the extra dosh on a brand new rack from CC as my own rack is perfectly serviceable, but just requires a couple of hours to machine up some lock stops. However, if I was able to pick up a later standard rack for about half the price of a new one, (and I've only just missed yet another one in here!) then I'd save myself some work. I'm not trying to bid you in the bollo**s, but if you don't get a better offer, please get in touch! Cheers, Les.
