Hi Merrick

Potentially dibs on the throttle bodies on behalf of a friend in Switzerland, subject to some questions...

What type of ECU control unit is it?

Can it take inputs from Lamba sensors so closed loop system can be run with a catalytic converter in the exhaust?

Do the trumpets or air filter require a cut-out in the bonnet?

If the answers look feasible for application in CH's stringent rules, then may be able to deal.

regards

Peter

Hi again

Does anyone know if the ECU is reprogrammable/remappable?

I think to have any chance of passing CH regs it would need at least to be able to be mapped to get through the emissions test, possibly with a switchable "MOT" map.

Alternatively, can the hardware be used with a programmable ECU such as MBE or Emerald?

Cheers

Peter

Hi Guys,

Thank you Marcos you have 2nd Dibs on the wheels.

Peter the ECU is reprogramable its comes with a standard setup program installed.

I'm waiting for Gary the friend who is selling the parts to come back to me with the answers. I can comfirm its a Weber Alpha kit with TB's and all the parts to replace the carbs and distributor.

If you send me your e-mail address I send you some photos.

  • 2 weeks later...

Subject seeing picture I am interested in the seat...also do you know about how its sized compaired to the Caterham Tillet....finally are the mounting holes spaced the same as a Caterham Tillet - yes you've guessed it I would be removing a Caterham Tillet to fit this seat....if you can get back to me....I'll PM you my email address.

Thanks
