Where can I get a cam belt tensioner from?

If it's 2001, it will lilely be an auto-tensioner, PTP do them at a good price as will any good local motor factor.

There are two issues..

i) The plastic rolloer surface is always disrupted when the bearings is pushed in, linish the surface on a belt linisher with a fine belt to flatten the surface

ii) The clamp bolts are made of cheese, if you can repalce the bolt with an 11.8 or 12.9 equivalent.

The higher the rating the more brittle the bolt gets. I have had bolts in my tintop and in my professional life that sheared because they were too brittle.

It's true that a 12.9 bolt has a shear rate of 1200N/mm2 and a 10.9 will be 1000N/mm2 - and the maximum continuous load is 90% of the shear rate. But still a softer bolt will be less prone to shear under vibration.
