Area Representative bluenose Posted December 9, 2008 Area Representative Share Posted December 9, 2008 I have decided to sell my spare set of Barnby magnesium wheels. 8 1/2" rears, 6 1/2" fronts(Standard size for R500). Fronts are fitted with Avon CR500 175x55x13 tyres with about 3/4mm of tread. Rears are fitted with Avon CR500 205x55x13 tyres that need replacing as they are bald. Wheels are in very good condition, not absolutely perfect but are undamaged. I had the centres crack tested and repainted by Mike Barnby in 2007 and fitted new zinc coated bolts. They have been used for about 5000 miles since + 4 track days. All wheels are fitted with stainless steel valve stems. Fronts seem nicely balanced so can go straight on a car. These wheels are extremely lightweight and I think they look really good on any Caterham. £600 for the set. Collection from N W Kent at weekends or Hampshire midweek.
