Neil_K
...... what they called? Thrying to find them on CC parts and can't. I've mangled the original ones getting them out, too much to try and reuse so going to just replace them (now that CC are doing free delivery, I can get all the cheap bits!). Can someone tell be before I go armed with a rivet gun? They are the small black pins that push in and split the 4 legs to hold the 7 embossed heater plate in place. Where am I? Stationary M25 Traveller
Don't know what CC call them, but they are reusable plastic drive rivets. Hang on a mo ... I might just have bought some in the past - let me go and look for the invoice !

Neil_K
No problem, cheers Ian. Reusable? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! 😬 I'm a patient person, but these little buggers tested it. Where am I?
Stationary M25 Traveller
You will be able to get something from your local motor factor. Just measure the dia of the hole.

stuart147
Neil. How many do you require? I have got spare ones.
Neil_K
However many hold the surround on. About 12 I think? Thanks for the offer but there's no rush Stuart, I can pop down the factors. Just thought the free CC postage was an opportunity to get silly little bits like this from them without paying the carriage. Where am I?
Neil_K
From Ian's pic ... Refitting is a bit of a game - trying to get all the legs back through the hole is fun. You're not wrong ..... which is why I'm tempted to break out the rivet gun. Where am I?
Stationary M25 Traveller
You could just use the plastic christmas tree style that just push into the hole and keep it all together. Easier to remove than rivets !!
Area Representative Paul Richards Posted November 30, 2008 Area Representative Share Posted November 30, 2008 I found black pop rivets a better replacement.
