martin b
As above I wondered if anyone close to Surrey may have a lightweight flywheel I could borrow for a month or 2. I am building a new engine which currently has a standard flywheel, my existing engine has a lightened flywheel but thats still running in the car. Really wanted to have the new engine balanced and built before I took the old one out. Any lurking in a garage 🤔 Martin Surrey AR/AO
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted November 22, 2008 Leadership Team Share Posted November 22, 2008 You'll need to have the engine balanced with the flywheel, therefore you'd be better swapping your old flywheels over now and getting everything balanced together. martin b
My hope Stu was that I could return a lightweight flywheel to its owner, not their original but the one removed from my existing engine, sorry if I didn't make that sufficiently clear.
