Tonycaterham
I have a used 3.62 crown wheel and pinion for a de-dion, which I bought off a fellow blatchatter earlier this year but never fitted. £100 would prefer buyer to collect but could post at extra cost but it does weigh quite a bit! Only selling to recover some of the money I've overspent on my 7 this year ☹️ Tony L7 EVL My engine' s a lot better now thank you for asking! Joachim Westermann
Tho complete diff or only the crownwheel and pinion (2parts) Regards Joachim www.mog-racing.com
Tonycaterham
Joachim Just the two parts pinion and crown wheel, though the pinion comes complete with bearings. Looking at the teeth there is really no evidence of wear and they did come from a low mileage caterham. Tony L7 EVL
Joachim Westermann
Sorry to say that Tony, A 3.62 crownwheel and pinion is at the moment worthless. 100 for a complete unit is maybe OK. Regards Joachim www.mog-racing.com

myothercarsa2cv
Well, not my place to interject, but at £235 inc VAT for just the ring + pinion from Burton, £100 for a barely worn set doesn't seem unreasonable to me? Joachim Westermann
Dear Tony, I am sorry if you are angry. That is not that what I want. The 3.62 diff is the most popular diff in the Sierra world. Everybody can find them for really cheap money at a breaker. The crown wheel and pinions are 99% always in super condition. But refresh the housing and the bearings is expensive. Install a pinion in a existing diff is also expensive. Sorry to say that. I am not writing that to harm you. Please smile! 🥰 Regards Joachim www.mog-racing.com
Tonycaterham
Joachim, This being the case why are you bothering to advertise in the wanted section? Tony L7 EVL Edited by - Tony7 on 18 Nov 2008 18:32:
Irrelevant
This being the case why are you bothering to advertise in the wanted section? Unless I'm missing something, and as he explained, he wants a complete open diff unit not just a CW&P.
Joachim Westermann
Tony as I said. I am sorry. But your parts are for everybody here not very useful. Give me a mail how I can make good my stupid post. I have ZERO interest to harm you. Please accept my excuse.
