Hi Dave,

I noticed that you had Hi-Spec 4 pots on standard discs, I am think of going this way myself to lose some weight at the front of my 85 live axle with Zetec (I have princess iron 4 pots at present). How were the brakes compared to standard ??

Thanks

Phil B (7 at last)

Hi Phil

The Hi Spec conversion was great brake feel and pressure was an improvement on ths standard set up. I believe quite a few folks have done this conversion and the staff at Hi spec are very helpful. I bought the whole kit with new discs and it was all just a straight swap except for needing to put a spacer washer between upright and caliper to get the alignment right.

Cheers
